Basic Rifle Course -$295 per person

 

This course is appropriate for beginners with little to no experience with firearms. The course introduces the student to the evolution of the rifle, from its origins in match-lock and flint-lock smooth-bore muskets, to today’s selective fire military assault rifles. The course explains the different categories of rifles such as bolt-action, lever action, semi-automatic and fully automatic variants; and focuses on the topic of ballistics and accuracy. The instructor will demonstrate different shooting stances, proper methods of slinging the weapon, and explain the proper grip and posture. You will be taught about sight alignment and steady firearm handling. The first part of the course will take place in the classroom and will include theory and dry-fire drills. After a 1-hr lunch break, we will do several hours of live fire training on the range.

 

Intermediate Rifle Course -$395 per person

 

This course is appropriate for those with some experience with rifles and picks up where the basic rifle course left off. It introduces the more experienced shooter to the next level of rifle handling and use. This course includes breathing techniques, malfunction drills, achieving accurate, rapid semi-auto fire, shooting while advancing on a target, shooting while under stress, rapid magazine replacements, basic Krav Maga using the rifle as a hand-to-hand defensive weapon, use of the bayonet, shooting in low-light conditions, shooting around obstacles, clearing corners and basic CQB (close quarter battle). This course will include use of holographic sights such as the Meprolite and EoTech as well as the TRIJICON ACOG rifle sight system. This course can be taken using either the AR-15 or Galil assault rifle. The first part of the course will take place in the classroom and will include theory and dry-fire drills. After a 1-hr lunch break, we will do several hours of live fire training on the range.

 

Advanced Rifle Course -$495 per person

 

This course is appropriate for those with extensive experience in combat shooting and focuses on the Israeli close quarter combat methods known as "Lashab" (Urban Warfare) and "Lotar" (Counter-Terror shooting). This course includes training with body armor, Kevlar helmets and full combat gear. The course focuses on intense close-quarter shooting techniques such as clearing a building, attacking an enemy emplacement and advancing and shooting as a team. This course covers shooting from a vehicle, shooting after extreme physical exertion, clearing stoppages under fire, cover and concealment, rapid fire techniques, transitioning from rifle to pistol, and identifying and terminating hostile threats while avoiding harming bystanders.

 

IDF Designated Marksman Course - $495 per person

 

This course closely follows the curriculum of the IDF's "course kalaim", or Designated Marksman Course, using the A3 (AR15A2E3) and M-14 precision rifle system. This course is for those who wish to become proficient with long-range marksmanship using the internationally recognized system of the Israel Defense Forces. The course will familiarize the student with the particular weapons system and the ballistic capabilities of either the SS109 or 7.62mm cartridge, as well as utilizing and sighting in the Trijicon ACOG and Nimrod rifle scopes while adjusting for windage and elevation and compensating for bullet drop. In this course we will be shooting tight groupings at 100-800 meters.

 

 

Prices quoted above are on a per-person basis. We provide discounted rates to groups of more than four participants. All courses listed above are one-day courses. They last from approximately 9:00am until 5:00pm and include a one hour lunch break. The price includes ammunition, range access, tactical gear, ear and eye protection, targets, etc. We provide the firearms for each course, however if you have your own gun(s) that you wish to use during the course, please check with us in advance. All courses must be paid for in full in advance, and are non-refundable. Because of this we advise everyone to be 100% certain well in advance that they will be able to attend the course they book on the particular date they choose. Courses must be booked a minimum of one week in advance. Courses are available Sunday through Friday. No courses given on Saturdays or Jewish holidays. All those applying for courses must be legally eligible to handle firearms. All those attending courses must be at least 18 years of age. Minors over age 12 are allowed to attend basic courses with parent or legal guardian present and with written consent. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and for any reason.
